Publication rules

Requirements for formatting, permitted content, and safe publication of literary works on Deviantism.

These documents describe the internal rules of Deviantism and are written with the general legal context of the Republic of Moldova in mind. They do not replace individual legal advice, but they explain the basic rights, obligations, and moderation order on the platform.

1. What can be published

Deviantism is intended for literary and related materials: poems, prose, essays, notes, reviews, series entries, and author-driven discussions.

2. What is prohibited

  • Plagiarism and appropriation of someone else’s authorship.
  • Content that violates the law, the rights of third parties, or moderation requirements.
  • Publications aimed at harassment, insults, or hate.
  • Profanity, obscene language, and toxic delivery as a way of addressing readers.
  • Spam, hidden advertising, and publications unrelated to the service topic.

3. What is recommended

  • Use a clear publication title.
  • Add a description or short context when it helps the reader.
  • Use tags, genre, language, and other metadata honestly.
  • Add content warnings if the material genuinely needs them.

4. Group and space publications

If a work is submitted into a group or space, the local rules, moderation mode, and formatting requirements of that community also apply.
